mISDN v1.x Architecture

Development of mISDN, the "modular ISDN" driver for Linux, was startet by Karsten Keil (SuSE AG) and Andreas Eversberg (known as Jolly) as replacement for hisax (isdn4linux).

It is a complete structural change to be much more flexible. It supports especially dynamical loading of Layers, which makes it possible to link layers between the Userspace and the Kernelspace. That is exact the way how the NT Stack has been added in the mISDNuser package.

mISDN will go into the Kernel when the major issues and code formattings are fixed and finished.
